Jun 1857 in Wisconsin,and his wife of 17 years, Dell [Bell] M., age 40, mother of 3 children, b. Jan 1860 in Indiana, along with Charley R., age 16, b. Oct 1883 in Iowa, and Minnie F., age 15, b. Jan 1885 in Iowa.
1920 OR CENSUS - Henry C. Nendel, age 28, occupation sawmill laborer, b. Nebraska, is enumerated with wife Bessie A., age 25, b. Kansas, along with daughters Vera, age 3, b. Oregon, and Beatrice, age 1, b. Oregon.

CORVALLIS – Henry C. Nendel, 93, 160 NE Conifer Blvd., died Wednesday. 
He was born in Gordon, Neb, and came to Oregon with his parents in a covered wagon in 1895. Two years later, they moved to a farm in the Airlie area of Polk County, where he spent most of his life. He was a farmer and logger. 
In 1957, he moved to Marysville, Calif, and came to Corvallis in 1979. 
Survivors include his sons, Alvin, Longview, Wash., Raymond, Waldport, and Walter, Philomath; daughters, Veva Bemrose and Lela Hamar, both Corvallis, Beatrice Unrien, Waldport, Margaret Gothard, Hermiston, Lucile Katewa, Yacolt, Wash., and Alice Rhodes, Portland. 
Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Monday at the English Cemetery, Monmouth, under the direction of McHenry mortuary. Statesman Journal 27 Sep 1985
