Mrs. Lavell Ploub, 68, of 564 Main street, Independence, died Tuesday, April 16, at her home. She had been ill for four years. A native of Airlie, she had lived her entire life in the local area. Survivors include her widower George and mother Mrs. Cassie Williams, of Independence.
Services were held on Friday, April 19, at Parmenter mortuary with interment in English cemetery south of Monmouth.

Longtime Airlie resident dies.
Mrs. Lavell Ploub passed away April 16 at the age of 68.
She was born at Airlie, March 26, 1906 and had lived all her life in the Airlie-Independence area.
She is survived by her husband George and her mother, Mrs. Cassie Williams, Independence.
Funeral services were at Parmenter Mortuary, Friday, April 19 with Rev. Howard Smith officiating.
Interment was at English Cemetery, Monmouth.
