Her first husband was Kirk Scrafford, who is buried in Smith cemetery. They were divorced in May 1910 (Polk County circuit court case 3778). Second husand Thomas Arthur Murphy died 24 Oct 1972 in Salem and was buried in Restlawn Memory Gardens

OBITUARY: 
Adna [Edna] Jane Murphy, wife of Thomas A. Murphy, died at Marshfield, Saturday, July 2, following a lingering illness of several weeks duration. Mrs. Murphy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.N. O’Kelly and was born at Airlie, Oregon, August 9, 1887. She spent the earlier part of her life in Polk county where she was well known but during the past five years prior to her death she has resided at Marshfield. Besides her husband she is survived by her father, W.N. O’Kelly of Gower, Maine, two daughters, Mrs. Ted Metcalf, Paris, California, and Miss Gladys Murphy of North Bend, two sons, Carl Murphy of North Bend and Dale Scrafford of Suver, three sisters, Mrs. M.C. Williams, Independence, Mrs. Link Allen, Kings Valley and Mrs. Della Bush, Portland, and two brothers, C.L. O’Kelly, Independence, and R.N. O’Kelly of Edgewood, Cal. Funeral services were held at the Keeney Funeral Home in Independence, Tuesday, July 5 at 1:30 p.m. Dr H. Charles Dunsmore officiating. Interment was held at the English cemetery at Airlie.
