OBITUARY: Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Henkle and Bollman chapel for Emmett Marion Turner, 65, who died at his home on Route 2, Dallas, Saturday after a prolonged illness. Burial followed in the English cemetery at Monmouth.
Mr. Turner was born on January 7, 1883, in the Lewisville community and was married on October 11, 1908, to Elma L. Williams at Airlie. They lived at Lewisville until six years ago when they moved to near Dallas at the time Camp Adair was established. Mr. Turner had been a farmer all his life.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Elma Turner; two brothers, Troy of Route 1, Monmouth, and A.J. Turner of Gervais and several nephews and nieces.
