OBITUARY: 
Oren J. Bagley, 82, retired mail carrier of the Suver community, passed away in a Corvallis hospital at 1:05 Monday afternoon. Mr. Bagley was a native son of Benton county, born at Kings Valley, June 16, 1860, his parents being early pioneers of Oregon. He had lived his entire life in Polk and Benton counties. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and for many years active in the Rural Mail Carriers association. 
Besides his widow, Susan A. Bagley, he is survived by one brother, Andy Bagley Portland; a grandson also residing in that city and 13 step-children. 
Funeral services will be held in the Keeney Funeral chapel at 10:30 Thursday morning. Rev Willard A. Elkins, pastor of the Christian church of Monmouth, will officiate and interment will be in the New English cemetery at Monmouth.
