Body found in Willamette
Portland, Ore (AP) – The body of Richard Lewis Krouse, 61, a former Oregon State Hospital patient who disappeared from a group home in Salem two weeks ago, was found Saturday in the Willamette River. Foul play is not suspected in his death, police said. Clothing, money and jewelry were found on his body. He had been a patient at the hospital for 27 years before his recent release. His body was discovered by two children fishing in the river near the Morrison Bridge.

Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday at Zena Cemetery northwest of Salem for Richard Lewis Krouse, 61, of 117 Idylwood Drive SE, whose body was found Saturday in the Willamette River at Portland. Death was by drowning. Rev Donald Hale will officiate. Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary is in charge. There are no known survivors.
