This family appears in 1900 and 1910 census of Spring Valley, Polk co, Oregon. They later moved to Linn Co, Oregon, where they appear in the 1920 census. The parents are buried in the Brownsville Pioneer Cemetery in Linn County. Emma was sister of Morten Mortensen who is also buried in Zena Cemetery

Savage.—At the family home, Spring Valley, Polk County, Oregon, Friday, August 17, 1900, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Savage.
The remains were interred in the Spring Valley cemetery this morning.
