OBITUARY: Barbara Gorman, Nov 1, 1944-Sept 22, 2014 Barbara Gorman, 69, of Dallas died Sept 22 in McMinnville. She was born in Silverton to Harold and Ann (Hoffort) Anderson. Barbara married Johnnie “John” Gorman on Sept 18, 1965. She worked in banking and had advanced to administrative assistant of the loan department at her branch. When Barbara wasn’t working, she enjoyed volunteering, photography, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, John; son, John H. Gorman; and two grandchildren. Graveside service was Saturday at Zena Cemetery in West Salem. An informal memorial get-together was held Sunday at Zena Church. Contributions are suggested to child evangelism.
