James ‘Ralph’ Wright, April 30, 1909-June 15, 2003

Salem – Ralph Wright, 94, died from cancer. He was born in Roanoke, Va, to James and Sally Wright. He was a builder and built several houses in Salem. He retired in 1973 and traveled extensively throughout the US. He was an avid gardener and known for his flowers and tomatoes. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Working Wright of Salem whom he married on June 29, 1936; sons, Larry & Harold & wife Nedra; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. His daughter, Linda Stenson Westfall preceded him in death. Contributions: Willamette Valley Hospice. Arrangements: Keizer Funeral Chapel.
