OBITUARY: 

Mrs Virgie M. Weinberg, 75, of 585 Commercial St SE, died Saturday night at a Salem nursing home. A native of South Dakota, she moved to Salem from Yamhill in 1944 and was employed for 10 years at Fairview Home. She was a member of First Church of God. Surviving are a son, Fred, Salem; three daughters, Mrs Joe Shepard and Mrs Carl Abraham, both Salem, and Mrs Iva Zeller, Albany; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Arrangements are pending at Howell-Edwards mortuary.
