1910 OR CENSUS – Clara C. Phillips (62y, b England, married 15y, second marriage, mother of 1 child) enumerated with husband John E. (66y, b Missouri, second marriage)

1920 OR CENSUS – Clara Phillips (64y, b England, immigrated 1892, naturalized 1895) enumerated with husband John E. (75y, b Missouri)

1930 OR CENSUS – Clara Phillips (81y, b England, widowed) enumerated as stepmother in home of James S. Hiatt (40y, b Oregon, married at age 23y, occupation mechanic), his wife Alta (48y, b Oregon, married at age 42y, occupation teacher) and their daughter Mildred (16y, b Oregon)

NOTE – C.K. Dawson who provided information for her death certificate was her son Charles Kendrick Dawson. He was born 30 Dec 1869 at Liverpool, England, and arrived at New York on 11 Apr 1894 aboard ship Etruria [naturalization petition, US District Court of Oregon, Ancestry.com]. He married 28 Feb 1920 at Vancouver, Clark co, Washington, to Cascinda M. Sanders [Washington Marriage Records, Ancestry.com]. His marriage application gives his parent’s names as Charles K. Dawson and Clara Robinson, both born in England.
