OBITUARY: 

SALEM, Or., July 29 - (Special) - The body of William Patterson, pioneer of Polk county, who died in Portland yesterday, was brought here today for burial. The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. He is survived by five children, Mrs. Bertha Ring of Iowa, Mrs. Susie Swabb of Washington, Mrs. Ethel Danior [Dancer] of Portland, Mrs. Hazel Bertzch of Portland, and Robert Patterson of Portland.
