OBITUARY: 

The Rev Fred Ferdinand Ott, at a local hospital, August 12, at the age of 83. Former resident of 176 W Luther St. Survived by wife, Marguerite Ott of Salem; son, Fred Carl Ott, with the US Air Force Educational Dept in Germany; daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, two brothers and one sister in Switzerland; one sister in New York. Member of Evangelical and Reformed church. Services will be held in the Howell-Edwards chapel at 1:30 pm Friday, Aug 15, with the Rev Russell Mayer and the Rev Ernest Tischhauser officiating. Concluding services in Zena cemetery.
