OBITUARY: 

Eva I. Olsen, Jan 7, 1893-July 18, 1989

McMinnville – Eva I. Olsen, 96, died Tuesday in McMinnville. She was born in Topeka, Kan, and moved to Oklahoma City and Pomona, Calif. She lived in Arizona before moving to Salem, then moved to Spring Valley. In 1943 she moved back to Salem, working 15 years for Salem Memorial Hospital. In 1958 she retired and moved to Tidewater, then to Waldport. She has lived in McMinnville since 1983. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, painting and ceramics. She was a member of the First Christian Church, Salem, and the Presbyterian Church, Waldport. Survivors include her son, Raymond Williams of Phoenix; and daughter, Dorothy Widener of McMinnville. Graveside services will begin at 10:30 am Tuesday in Zena Cemetery, rural Salem. Arrangements are by Macy and Son mortuary.
