Feb 1845 in Indiana. The Moore's are enumerated as servants in the home of Peter Hanson, Henry is enumerated as a boarder.

Also enumerated with the family is Berthold Albeker, idenified as father-in-law [of Henry], age 68, widowed, b. Germany.

1940 OR CENSUS – Henry Moore (49y, b Oregon, occupation turkey farmer) enumerated with wife Nellie (48y, b Oregon) and Nellie’s father Berthold Albiker (79y, b Germany, widowed); family was living in same house in 1935. Also with the family were their daughter Lenora Rivers (26y, b Oregon, divorced) and her son Norlan Rivers (7y, b Oregon); they were living in Salem, Marion co, Oregon in 1935

OBITUARY: 

Woodburn – Henry D. Moore, 71, resident of Rt 1, Box 248, Aurora, for the past 42 years, died at his home Monday evening. He was born in Elgin, Ore, but grew up in the Salt Creek community of Polk County. He was a farmer and construction worker. On Aug 1, 1910, he married Nellie Albiker at Oregon City. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs LeNore Purvine, Salem; two sisters, Mrs John Mentzer and Mrs Lila Moore, both of Portland, and a grandson. Graveside services under direction of Ringo-Cornwell Funeral Home at Woodburn, will be held at 2 pm (PST) Thursday at the Zena Cemetery, six miles northwest of Salem in Polk County.
