OBITUARY: 

Lena L. Miller, 91, of 1137 7th St NW, died Friday in a local nursing home. Born in Stratton, Colo, she came to Salem in 1944 from Benkelman, Neb. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include sons, Allan E. Miller, Independence, and Manford M. Hawks, Yuma, Ariz; daughters, Alma E. Smith and Luella L. Troxell, both of Salem; stepdaughter, Ella Cantrell, Fort Morgan, Colo; brother, George Osborn, Longmont, Colo; sister, Manilla Merklin, Benkelman; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 pm Wednesday at Howell-Edwards-Doerksen mortuary. Interment will be in Zena Cemetery.
