Barbara L. McAllister, 77, of Salem, died Wednesday.
Born in Turner, she lived in Roseburg for 14 years before moving to Salem in 1958. She attended schools through high school in the Aumsville area. She worked for SAIF for more than 23 years, retiring in in 1982 as a supervisor with closed claims.
She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and raising flowers
Her husband, Lewis "Mac", died in 1988.
Survivors include her daughter Sharon Lou Martin of Salem; sons, Lewis of Olympia, Wash.; Laurece of Albany; and Darrell of Keizer; sister, Alice Maloney of Keizer' brother Laurence Roberts of Quincy, Wash.; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Barrick Funeral Home. INterment will be at Zena Cemetery. Contributions: Mid-Willamette Valley Hospice.
