1900 OR CENSUS -  Emilia [Cornelia] Harritt, age 39, mother of 3 children 2 of whom are living at the time of the census, b. Mar 1861 in Iowa, is enumerated with her husband of 14 years, Byron W., age 46, occupation merchant grocer, b. Dec 1853 in Oregon, along with Jessie, age 13, b. Oct 1886 in Oregon, and Carl [Karl], age 12, b. Oregon.
DISCREPANCY - Marker and dc give year of birth as 1860, 1900 Census record gives year of birth as 1861.

1910 OR CENSUS - Cornelia Harritt (49y, b Iowa, mother of 3 children, 2 living at time of census ) enumerated with husband of 24 years Byron W. (57y, b Oregon, occupation farmer) and 2 children, Jessie (23y, b Oregon, occupation teacher) and Karl (22y, b Oregon); als with family was hired man Emil Schindler (35y, b Switzerland)

1920 OR CENSUS - Cornelia Harritt (58y, b Iowa) enumerated with husband Byron W. (66y, b Oregon, occupation farmer) and her father Jacob Bessemer [sic; Bezemer] (88y, b Holland, immigrated 1855, naturalized 1860)

OBITUARY: 

Mrs Cornelia B. Harritt, late resident of 1700 North 17th street, at a local hospital October 17.Survivied by a daughter, Miss Jesse Harritt of Salem; a son, Karl W. Harritt of Salem; two grandchildren, Mrs Marjorie Maerz of Everett, Wash, and Delbert Harritt of Coos Bay, Oregon; and three great grandchildren. Services will be held at the Clough-Barrick chapel Tuesday, October 19, at 10:30 am with Rev Lloyd T. Anderson officiating. Interment in the Zena cemetery.
