Oregon, Robert, age 11, b. Oregon, Verda, age 9, b. Oregon, and Debney, age 4, b. Oregon.  Also enumerated with the family is Lewis Ritner, identified as father-in-law [of Robert], age 73, widowed, b. Oregon.

DISCREPANCY – The birth date on Robert’s death certificate originally read 3 Nov 1880, but was later revised to read 12 March 1859. The 1900 census and the WWI draft card show that 3 Nov 1880 was the correct date

Tennessee), maiden name of mother Mary Eckley, interment: 1 Feb 1934, undertaker Kenney Funeral Home, informant Mrs. Anna Arnold.

OBITUARY: 

Robert B. Arnold died at the family home three miles from Pedee Tuesday. Funeral services will be held from the Pedee schoolhouse this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 pm with Rev E.A. Fogg officiating, and burial in the Pedee cemetery. Mr Arnold was born at Iola, Kansas, November 30, 1880 and had been engaged in farming since coming to Oregon 29 years ago. Besides his widow Anna, he is survived by two sons, Bobbie and Debley, and two daughters Mrs Howard Perry and Verda Arnold, all of Pedee; five brothers: Ephraim, Harvey and Albert of Idaho, and Thomas and Sidney of Merrill; four sisters: Mrs Flora Rittes of Kansas, Mrs Natina Longshore of Bakersfield, Calif, Mrs Sophia Strubs of Kansas, and Mrs Lucy Bates of Colorado.
