OBITUARY: 
Marjorie Ramsey, June 16, 1920-Sept. 10, 1995 Marjorie Ramsey of Monmouth died at a local care center Sept 10. She was 75. Born in Jackson, Miss, to Albert and Bertha Grice Hart, she lived in Mississippi and Louisiana most of her life before moving to the Northwest settling in Oregon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Monmouth, enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and playing cards. Survivors include sons, Elijah William Ramsey III of Lafayette, La, and Daniel Keith Ramsey of Albany; daughters, Debra Rae Oden of Monmouth, Judith Gail Aker of Springfield, Margaret Jane Cairns of Bothel, Wash, and Joanne Hart of Tacoma, Wash; brother, Randolf Hart of Monroe, La; sisters, Faye Flatt of Monroe, La, Jeanette Garr of Newelton, La, Roselea Hendricks of Monroe, La; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday S3 at the Smith Cemetery, Monmouth, with vault interment following. Farnstrom Mortuary of Independence handled the arrangements.
