OBITUARY: 
Barnett George Wisner Sr, 69, died May 15 in Dallas. He was born Feb 4, 1920, in Berea, Ohio, the son of Harry B. Wisner and Leah VanCamp. He wed Garnet C. Levings on July 23, 1937, in Greenup, Ky. Wisner was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Army. After the war he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans and the Purple Heart organization. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ashley, Ohio. He has lived in Dallas since 1986, moving here from Highland, Calif. A son, Barnett G. Wisner Jr, preceded him in death in 1986. He is survived by his wife, Garnet Wisner of Dallas; daughters Diane B. Wisner-Crump of Schrollbach, W. Ger, Joyce E. “Charles” Rizer of Fulton, Ohio, and Linda D. Schiebler of Los Angeles; and 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Services are 2 pm Thursday, May 18 at Restlawn Funeral Home. Vault interment is in Smith Cemetery, Monmouth. Restlawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Itemizer Observer, Wednesday, May 17, 1989, 11A:3
