OBITUARY: 
Clinton A. Lukins, March 7, 1929-July 14, 2002
Clinton A. Lukins of Falls City died at his home July 14. He was 75. He was born in North Hollywood, Calif, to Ernest and Elanor Lukins. He grew up near Oakland, Calif before moving to Oregon in 1965. He worked for Boise Cascade in Valsetz for around 15 years. He moved to Falls City in 1975 and then to Oklahoma before returning to Falls City in 1990. He worked as a Pinkerton security guard in his retirement. He enjoyed music and gardening. He was a member of the American Legion Veterans of Foreign Affairs. He is survived by his wife, Violet A. Lukins of Falls City; sons, Ernest Lukins of San Jose, Timothy Lukins of Falls City, and Tobias Lukins of McMinnville; brother, Kenneth Lukins of Mesquite, Nevada; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held July 19 at Farnstrom Mortuary in Independence. Vault interment with military honors followed at Smith Cemetery in Monmouth. Contributions may be made to Old Mill Center for Children and Families, in Corvallis. Farnstrom Mortuary is handling the arrangements.
