Harman (b. Illinois), maiden name of mother Louisa Deitz (birthplace not given), informant Mrs. G. E. Lynch of Albany, Oregon. 
OBITUARY: 
William Hamby Harman, son of Andrew and Loucisa Harman, was born July 26, 1870, at Shelbyville, Ill. Mr Harman died in Albany May 28, 1948, at the age of 77 years, 8 months and 2 days. He mnoved to Oregon with his parents when a small boy of seven years and has resided in Polk county most of his life. Mr Harman was enaged in farming for many years. On September 10, 1896, he was united in marriage to Carrie May Brown at Dallas, Ore, to which union five children were born. Mr Harman is survived by three children, Glenn Harman of Mt Vernon, Wash, Del Harman of Stanfield, Ore, Mrs Jerald Lynch of Albany; two sisters, Mrs S.W. Hart of Philomath and Mrs Grace Holcomb of Albany, also by four grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and his many friends. Services were from the Walter L. Smith mortuary in Independence May 31 at 2:00 pm with Rev C.O. Heath officiating. The last rites were in the Smith cemetery south of Monmouth.
