OBITUARY:
Rebecca Sophaanne Bush, 92 year old resident of Falls City, died Monday in a Grand Ronde rest home after an illness of two years. Funeral services were Wednesday afternoon at Bollman Funeral home and burial was in Montgomery cemetery. The daughter of Allen and Anne Carter Simpson, Mrs Bush was born March 26, 1873, in Lewisville. She was married Sept 5, 1892, in Dallas to John William Bush, who died Dec 20, 1927. She moved to Falls City from Pedee in 1943. Survivors include three daughters, Elsie Burton, Portland, Eva Baker, McMinnville, and Reva Herron, Dorena; two sons, Wilber Bush, Taft, and Walter Bush, Willamina; 20 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.
