OBITUARY: 
Marshall Nealley, aged 84, passed away Sunday at 1:30 AM after being seriously ill for two weeks. His wife Mrs. Artie Nealley passed away only 10 days ago, but he was too ill to receive word of her death.  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the Henkle & Thomas chapel with Rev. K. E. Burke officiating.  Interment was in the Riggs cemetery near Bridgeport.  
Mr. Nealley was born July 14, 1849, one mile south of Helmick Park. He had spent his entire life in Oregon with the exception of a few years in California and Washington. During most of this time he had followed the work of an engineer, but for the past 12 years he was in ill health and was unable to engage in any labor.  He is survived by a son, O. L. Nealley of California, and a grandson who resides in Corvallis.
