OBITUARY: 
C. Clifford Wills, 76, Independence, died Dec 20, 1987, in Portland. He was born Jan 9, 1911, in Idaho, the son of Charles and Melinda Stevens Wills. He had been a resident of Independence since 1972, moving here from California. He had worked as a dairy equipment salesman until his retirement. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Lucille Wills, Independence, two daughters, Judith Tornich, Fremont, Calif, and Sarah Lee Friesendorf, San Rafael, Calif; a sister, Phyllis Wyman, Boise, Idaho; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral services were held Dec. 23, 1987, at the English cemetery, Monmouth, Jack McElravy officiating. Interment followed at the English Cemetery. Farnstrom Mortuary, Independence, was in charge of arrangements.
