Marriage of Parents - Charles E. Drumeller & Martha A. Murphy md 22 Oct 1882, Saline Co, Missouri
Martha was daughter of Albert & Jemima Murphy who are buried in Dallas Cemetery. The family moved to Oregon in 1882 and lived near Rickreall for a year and then settled in Oakdale district near Dallas. They later moved to Sheridan, Yamhill Co, Oregon where Charles died 9 Jan 1910. His obituary (Polk County Itemizer 13 Jan 1910) reports he was survived by wife, 2 sons Aubrey and Earl, and was preceded by an infant daughter who was undoubtedly Ollie. Charles was buried in Sheridan Masonic Cemetery. Martha remarried 15 Aug 1917 in Yamhill Co to John W. Yates (Oregon Marriage Index). They settled in Pringle precinct, Marion Co, Oregon, where they appear in 1920 and 1930 census. John W. Yates died 13 Dec 1933 and was buried in Belcrest Cemetery at Salem (death notice OS 15 Dec 1933). Martha was living in Pringle precinct in 1940 census but has not been further traced.
