1880 OR CENSUS - W. Nancy Dempsey, age 59, b. Kentucky, is enumerated with I. Isaac Dempsey, age 59, occupation farmer, b. Ohio. Also enumerated with the family is a boarder, Robert Kyle, age 21, occupation farm laborer, b. Ireland.

OBITUARY: Mrs. Nancy Dempsey died at her home in Rickreall yesterday morning, aged about 75 years. She was taken with a paralytic stroke several weeks ago, and slowly sank. Mrs. Dempsey was the widow of the late Judge I.I. Dempsey, and was a most estimable woman. She leaves 3 daughters, Mrs. E.E. Goodell, Mrs. D.O. Bronson, and Mrs. N. Davidson. The funeral will take place tomorrow afternoon.
